Ruban is a streetlight system developed for the Place Pestalozzi of Yverdon-les-Bains in Switzerland.

A continuous ribbon wraps the pole and the luminaire together. 

Isolated, the luminaire stands out by its bold geometry and its unusual see-through head. However, its straight lines disappear and blend into the architectural landscape.

It was important for us to propose a sustainable solution for the city. 

Developed out of steel sheet metal, Ruban can be entirely produced and maintained by a local workshop.  When necessary each part can be separated and refurbish or discarded for recycling.
